Closing Comments
Bears win.
However, it wasn't a terrible day for bulls, unless you were long ATHR or BRCM ;)
Also, after the close, XOM declared force majeure on oil shipments from Alaska's Prudhoe Bay. I anticipate oil stocks will run to the upside-- first thing Monday morning. Again, my fav in the space is CEO.
All in all, today was a typical Friday, longs were unwilling to hold positions over the weekend and shorts drove down the SOX.
My best bet for Monday is strength in oil/gas and weakness in the SOX.
What else is new?
At the end of trading, the following stocks had notable upside moves:

Just have a little to add to your oil thingy,In the news,that france and the US have settled on a UN deal for a cease fire in the mid east,and its to be voted Sunday,CNN is saying The Ireasl PM is for it-
What it will mean is an right away stop to Fighting! Ireasl will Stop! The borders will be controlled- yada yada-
Even in liu of xom news this is bigger-this will knock 2 bucks(easy) off oil monday or soon their after_

As far as "peace" goes: I am somewhat bearish on peace.
The XOM news will be followed by BP news and the whole oil complex will exlode to the upside.
My sense, at least.

I hope you are wrong about the oil price but I fear you are right. If that happens you can put shutters on every Walmart in the country and Target and Kohls are right behind.
