Position Updates: ERS, ACLI, VLO, ADBE, GLBC, EQIX, LOTTO TICKETS

Are all on fucking fire.

NOTE: I get the feeling that some of my readers are relatively new to investing and may not be able to absorb losses and may lack the IQ power to differentiate a "diceroll" from a solid long term hold. Therefore, I will suspend my "FlyBuy" and "FlySell" posts. The point of this blog is to entertain and give a helping hand to those who may need it. By no means do I want people to follow my trades. Because of my asset base, I may take a different approach to the market than many of you. For example, I never invest in a stock and believe the current quote is the "bottom" or "top." Normally, I will buy a stock, continuously, over time at numerous price levels-- because of the amount of assets I am working with. Many of you have seen me do this with stocks like ATHR, VLO, RACK and several others. So, I will still rant and cuss out CNBC from time to time, but for now, I will keep my trades private.

Comments:
Don't get too worked up just cuz one putz is mad that he is down a few ticks. Ignore those guys, I really enjoy following your blog, you have a lot of interesting and funny things to say. Keep up the good work.

you're never going to get a CNBC show with that attitude. You have to pretend everyone has unlimited funds and they don't mind if you pretend your bad picks don't exist.

How about a happy middle ground because I like seeing how you trade. Maybe you just need a disclaimer on each FlyBuy & FlySell? Just a quick cut & paste should do. Something like "don't be a f'n idiot and trade just because you read it here."

Do what you want to it's your blog (and I enjoy it immensely).

Keep up the great blog. I wish you would continue posting your buys and sells broker. These children posting need to get off the internet. I hope you rethink. You could make the comments for only people who have blogger or google account. That should keep the children from ranting and raving. You make it clear that you only post for educational purposes and anyone who follows your advice is doing it at their own risk.

Your fly buys and sells is what makes your site so interesting. If people make a trade just because you did, they are fucking idiots and for that they deserve to lose money!

crap

I can't believe you are so negative against CNBC. lol

Will miss the trade posts. They were insightful, both the winners and losers.

I am not affronted by people heckling me for buying a stock and it going down the next day. I am genuinely concerned that someone may put all his money in crap like MVIS and get his head handed to him if things go bad.

Maybe a disclaimer is the way to go. Good idea.

As for CNBC:

I was hoping for a 15 second slot where I would get a chance to refer to Dylan Ratigan and Bob Pisani and "fuckers" and "asshats," while issuing the ever coveted "FlyBuys" on my lotto ticket of choice.

You really should not leave! or, if you want, you can place your fly buys and fly sells on my blog, Ill take the heat for you!

newbull.blogspot.com, would love to have you over with me!

but by all means keep up the good work!

Keep posting the buys/sells. Find it interesting. If idiots can't figure it out then they are brain dead. Your approach makes sense if you have the capital.

I bought AMZN and NFLX and just sold them. They are too up/down for long term for me. RNOW is going to have good earnings. Q3 is their good quarter b/c of heavy Govt sector sales. Bebe looks good too. Oils down and retail is humming. My girlfriend and her friends love the clothes--good street cred. Both report today.

AKAM is a good one too. Buying that.

Like VLO, but love SU. PD is worth looking at. It has done really well for me.

Adios amigo, Jas

Actually,

I like your recommendations. Sometime, I went opposite of your opinions, and bought ATHR at 17+. Even my broker doesn't guarantee his picks. Why should you even feel bad or care for bad responses. Post-on dude!

Love your blog. While super informative, you make me laugh harder than I've laughed in a long, long while. Thanks!!!!!

I'm sorry about my post earlier, I didn't mean to touch a nerve. I mentioned lotto tickets half hearted. I think alot of your blog and your commentary. I'm sorry you took my comments the wrong way, good luck with MVIS.

Perhaps I "overreacted" to your comments as well.

Maybe if I had my pacifier in hand, I wouldn't have ranted and raved over your innocent jab.

Thanks for the comments and apology.

please keep posting your buys and sells and your dice rolls and your reasons for the aforementioned. Let's not forget the ranting and raving. I'm new and it's all educational. Keep up the ENTERTAINMENT. Thanks
