Position Updates: RIMM, ACLI

Both RIMM and ACLI have been big winners for me in 2006. However, I do feel they are due for a pullback-- maybe as much as 10%.

If you were lucky enough to buy ACLI on my "FlyBuy,"now might be a good time to take a profit. However, I will hold both positions and buy more after a dip. They are long term positions of mine.

Clarification: I, personally, will do no "dip-buying." It will be my trader who actually does the buying-- making him a bonafide asshole dip-buyer. I just wanted to make that clear.

Comments:
broker A,

Yes, they will be with sirius and good thing is that they will make some RF components also for sirius stelleto radio. SMDI is a core RF company and that's a good one.

AeA conf. CEO was very upbeat and said for a low P/E of 15 we should be at $12. Said we are very undervalued and said the same thing last Nov. (2005). He said for what ever reason we are at this range, is not right.

Also, analysts upgraded recently and you can see good reports by the analyst here:

your feed back will be greatly appreciated. Also, I am not sure if you will be looking down for newer comments, how do you track the comments that are updated a few days later.

Thanks,

I will do a little HW on SMDI.

It was my biggest winner in 2005, 3.5-12.

What do you think of the new IPOs that are coming this week such as Nymex, KBR, hertz? Is it a good idea buying them on first day. Personally, I am thinking of buying Nymex.

You don't physically do the buying and selling? Does this guy bring you snacks and drinks too?

Well, if NYMEX behaves like CME it's quite the buy. The CME chart since the IPO is an amazing thing.

It's plausible to me that NYMEX is a way to play commodities without digging into the hated oil and metals stocks. Trade em up, trade em down, they make money.

Yes. He also fetches my morning paper, which I have delivered at my PO BOX-- 5 miles from my office.

I am buying 500shares of Nymex at open. Likely to open in the 90's.
