Broker--
At what point would you pull the trigger on AAPL?

I took a look at your NILE short notion and I'm inclined to nibble at puts. From alexa.com, their December traffic is a disaster (compare with Dec 05 and Dec 04). 4Q should be nearly 40% of revs. Citi uses comscore data and notes their estimate of 67K orders depends on traffic-to-sale conversion rates higher than have ever been seen at NILE. And NILE's past conversion rates were twice industry average; I think reversion to mean is as likely as continued outperformance in the face of improving competitor websites. NILE is offering free overnight shipping now. Short interest huge. Last year the problem was keyword search prices. This year I think the quarter just plain misses on traffic and conversion rates both.

You're not taking a position yet...? on general strength of market? or NILE-specific factors?

i don't know if u watch the level 2s for MVIS, but what's up with the big ASK size at 3.14? it seems like someone is holding the slingshot back.

...it's probably nothing. Meanwhile, I'm messing w/ the BID side.

NILE sucks. Plus, I know the diamond dealers are getting their asses kicked. No position yet, but soon.

Patience on MVIS.

I'd take a bite out of aapl here.

Late day thought, is this what hell looks like? http://www.nypost.com/seven/12222006/photos/tv115d.jpg

In other parts of my brain I am wondering if Erin Burnett could get any more dumb, and Goldman hired her ass!?.

All I want for Christmas is a PicoP projector in my Blackberry and my Palm Treo.

Monster and Grey Goose anyone?

Hey Broker A, Happy (and safe) Holidays to you and your loved ones! Thanks for your help and all the work you do on this awesome site...and even if this IS politically incorrect....Merry Christmas!!! Jazzz

Well, i did my DD, so I put my order for MVIS finally. Stock is being held back today probably because of light volume, but it never really sold off so it past an important test for me.

Stock can take off if those sell orders at 3.30ish get filled, since 3.40 is a breakout point.

MVIS is one of those fallen stocks of 2000, which fell from $68.50. But the company took a lot of steps in 2006 to turnaround- new management, new CEO, new stock offering, and now new analyst which means new investor money, including mine, as my $3.09 buy order is slowly getting filled.

Bottom line, I like this stock mid to longterm. This stock is getting more and more popular. Now all I need is patience.

BrokerA. Cramer back on Wallstrip for the holidays. Merry Christmas to you and your clients. The last few days down have been on light volume but may turn out to be a bull trap.

Wallstrip=hilarious
