Fly Rant: GOOG Needs to Split Their Stock

If the owners at GOOG want to help their shareholders, they would split their fucking stock already. I mean, are these guys fucking kidding with the $500 stock price? Do they really think they are the next Berkshire Hathaway? Hey assholes, you are a tech company, not a legendary holding company.

Frankly, by not splitting their shares, they are hurting shareholders and it wreaks of arrogance. Every dominant tech company, since the exchange was founded, has split their shares.

Do the dicktards at GOOG believe they are better than others (MSFT, AAPL, INTC, CSCO, etc) ? Moreover, why do they desire to keep the share price out of reach for the piker/average investor?

Answer: Because they are asshats.

Frankly, if you are long GOOG and have been mesmerized by Cramer's rantings on the stock, wake up. Considering the stock is only up 15% over the last year, while their financials have been smoking hot, I feel the GOOG boys are greatly mismanaging their share price.

Split the stock already, you GOOG-tards.

Comments:
Nice pop on ADY, 100 anorexicly traded shares at a time.

I fear that any purchase of ADY will end up making me bloated and gassy just like when I drink skim milk. Worst was when I had some really spicy tacos and then drank a half liter of skim, lets just say there was no second date.

Time to line up the MVIS...

MVIS- why would you kick a dog when its down? Seriously, MVIS is the four letter word of my holdings. I've gotten to where I hate that SOB, yet I hang on for more pain.

I am suggesting lining it up for a buy...I have not been kicking it for some time.

Yes, was I smart, I would be buying here too, instead of in the .90s, .80s, .70s, and .60s.
Good on ya Kid.

If Fly's analysis is right and we are in the early innings of this story, the extra .40 cents you paid will not be noticed.

I'm trying to get in NGAS today. But the market cap is quite smaller than I'm used. A lot of ugly energy related stox are doing good (check out TTES). Thoughts on NGAS? Heads to $7? I think $6.40 is a safe stop loss.

For people who got in MVIS at higher levels, it has been very frustrating-- as of late.

Fortunately, I own it much lower and do not fret at the sight of a dip.

I am sticking to this name long term, so I really can't opine on day to day action any longer.

I hate NGAS. GMXR is a better gas play or GGR.

I bought TKO on a rumor. Let's see what happens.

Broker can you please let us know your thoughts going into tomorrows numbers for IVAC? I am in the stock as well as I see Hard Drive sales just on fire as noted from Seagate's comments.

Obviously, I think the numbers will be good.

However, know this:

The stock can get mushroon clouded if they miss. It is very volatile and you may be forced to sell one of your testicles, should you wipe yourself out owning it.

Had to get in the disclaimer.

hasn't google's management stated that they don't plan to split the stock?

ok, Mr. "i like foreign telecom but i don't like crapshoots" Broker: what do you think of VNT? Someone dropped two 500,000 share votes of confidence today on Mr. Chavez being a nice and reasonable guy with regard to nationalizing CANTV. What do you think?? Stock's been acting lately like "maybe it was all just a bad dream".

I think buying VNT is equal to having buying Cuban stocks, prior to Castro.

Is there anything on your buy list? TIA

I'm with you Broker A. It's idiotic for GOOG not to split. All they're doing by not splitting is excluding the 90% of retail stock buyers who won't even look at a stock over $100...

onepence..thanks but I don't trade pink sheet.
bullish jim... If want to trade GOOG, find a firm giving you more then 4-1 intraday buying power. I happened to know one giving 20 to 1 intraday and 3 to 1 overnight.

I'm looking to day trade GOOG. I am long from about $220 but I've sold off some along the way. I would be curious though who's giving 20-1 intraday buying power...

I meant that I'm NOT looking to day trade GOOG, by the way.

hi jim, good for ya. I was in GOOG too. I was long in may 2005(220's), sold few along the way and was out by Jan 06 for good. Ever since I only trade it. One of my latest trades was GOOG short, I talked about that on my blog.
As far as the firm, I don't wanna advertise it here, if your interested you can email me.
All the best,
