Fly Rant: McDonald's Coffee Sucks Wood

I don't know how much money McDonald's gave to the Consumer Report fuckers, but I know they had to grease them pretty good.

CNBC just said, "MCD has the best coffee." Hilarious joke, I am sure.

Clearly, anyone with a palette knows Starbucks is far superior, to both MCD and Dunkin' Donuts.

Plus, only poor people drink MCD coffee. In America, poor people don't count.

Sorry, I don't make the rules. I just try to enforce them.

Comments:
McD's coffee USED to be good, back in the 80's. But they screwed it up.

You must have been poor in the 80's.

Tell them you are a senior citizen and you could drink all day for .50. Try doing that at Starbucks. PS They don't ask for ID to prove your age.

No one was poor in the 80s. Reaganomics rule.

True. And ketchup was a veggie.

Feels like the sellers are losing control in the Nazz. Looking for a nice lift this afternoon...

A move over 1800 in the NDX will be the cue.

Interesting movement in the gold stocks. Gold is down big but two of the stocks are now only down about .25 and moving up.

That would be NEM and ABX.

What I find interesting is that the XAU never broke out to multiyear highs. Previous highs in 87 and 96 were around 150.00 and despite gold's doupling in price the stocks did not meaningfully participate.

Some nasty looking reversals on the charts from the last 2 days.

The major gold stocks should probably be at least 45-50% higher than they are now relative to the price of gold but in the last few years the hedge funds have been playing a game of going long gold futures and hedging shorting the gold stocks. I remember when gold was only $550 in 1993 or so and Newmont was at $75.00.

Do you guys see the big demand for MVIS at the 3.55-56 level? Broker any MVIS thoughts here?

Kidstock: It would be nuts but looks possible that the gold stocks turn positive by the close although the metal itself is down about $13.00. There could be a market statement in it if it happens.

MVIS is pissing in the wind, until earnings.

The earnings are not important. The conference call is.

If you already own it-- hold.

If you are looking to buy in-- get it on a dip.

Stay tuned... I am of the belief that the stocks have topped and we are going to see rotation out of natural resources and into tech.

I just liquidated my entire portfolio to bet it on the superbowl. Colts.

What the fuck do you know about coffee
starbucks is terrible - mac's coffee is not in my universe. Get a life!

What if?

Fuck you and go fetch me a Dopio espresso.
