I bought 5,000 MVIS @ $3.42.

I know that MVIS makes laser hardware for cel phones that can project full color images.
What else are they doing that makes you guys so bullish?

MVIS also has Heads up display technology for use in cars and airplanes. They also make video glasses.

From what I understand, they were having challenges getting a green laser to work well at that size. If the color is no good, the public may not pay $100 to add this to their phones.
The color is perfect.
Corning has perfected the technology. It will dominate the cell phone industry--as camera's did 5 years ago.
However, the company will pursue a stand alone mini projector, which can be attached to Apple video i-pods, in order to create some cash flow.
I suspect they want to get the form factor down, prior to rolling out an embedded version.

As I understand it, the green laser tech. is solid, and its not the size that is the hitch. The hitch is decreasing the wattage requirements for the green laser so that the standard cell battery can handle the load. I believe they are working on a phase 2 which will have the green laser within the necessary specs. for wattage. Check this site out for more info
