Sector Spotlight: Construction

It's worth noting, there is an army of "illegal Mexicans" working in "The Fly's" neighborhood, digging up dirt and laying cable. As a matter of fact, Time Warner gave me free cable, for a period of 6 months, to quiet me up. I'll have you know, "The Fly" doesn't appreciate other "illegal Mexicans," who do not work for him, digging up dirt and making a mess with their shovels and hot tar.

My point: Construction stocks have been on fucking fire. Look at the steroid gains in FWLT, URS, MDR, FLR and GVA.

Aside from the above names, I have been doing some research on PLPC, IESC, LAYN, MTZ, NCS, PWR and WNG. Thus far, PLPC seems to have my attention. They are milking the "phone fuckers" at VZ for every penny they could get, laying cable for them.

As for today's trading:

We will probably enjoy a good punch to the nose today, mainly due to profit taking. As you know, I have built up a big cash position and will look to buy the dips, whenever I get the inclination.

Of course, if you are shorting stocks, be careful. The asshole dip buyer is lurking and will punch your fucking eyelashes off-- the first chance he gets.

NOTE: MVIS had a great conference call, last night. This is a dip worth buying. It sounds as if a major cell phone contract is no more than 3 months away. Ultimately, I feel this stock can push $7, on a big cell phone deal-- using their Picop technology.

Comments:
The fucking communists in China are about to get their eyeballs scratched out so Mother Market can piss on their brains. High ranking officials have warned about a bubble several times, and the fucktards just ignore the warnings and keep buying. Morons.

Our market will get bitch slapped when the commies panic and start puking up stocks.

What commies those Chinese are. Geez, communism has certainly evolved over the last 30 years. Now, the commies are all capitalistic and shit, while us capitalists are more socialistic.

Funny how that works.

Thesis - Antithesis = Synthesis

I read that Chinese tourist spots were down 30% recently because they didn't want to leave their stock quote terminals. Sounds like 1999 in USA. I used to carry my Quotetrek to the golf course.

Maggot-China could run for awhile. Alan Greenspan warned about USA market and irrational exuberance around 1996 or 1997 and Dow ran up another three more years.

Jeff, I recommend that you wear your tin foil hat if you leave the house today.

Hey Herb--

What happened to your last name?

Did you take off one "e" for earnings?

I'm incognito. I guess the perm is a give away.

Caddy, China is a house of cards. Too much capacity in every industry. Banks insolvent but the government won't let them fail. Sounds alot like Japan before the Nikkei went from 40,000 to 12,000.

You should disconnect the Chinese stock market from the economy when you're drawing conclusions.

It seemed like MVIS potential customers seem like they don't want their product or they would have signed last summer. There wasn't anything technical holding them back.

kc, it wasn't until late last year (CES '07) that the projector was sufficiently miniaturized for applications that include a hand held mobile device (i.e. a cell phone).

KC, come on, you can do better than that.
