Weekend Thoughts: The Important Matter of Milk Cartons

I can't get these fucktarded thoughts out of my head.

On Friday, Eric "the oil barrel" Bolling said he liked DF, because of the rise in milk prices--even though it's down 10% from his original recommendation.

Fine, I can deal with bad stock advice.

However, he then went on to say: "Hey, but look at the the companies that make milk containers, CCK and OI. They're doing great."

At first, I thought nothing of such fucktarded logic. However, as the weekend progressed, I have been thinking about his ridiculous comments-- to the great detriment of my 155 IQ.

Now, "The Oil Barrel" is a smart dude. But, will someone explain how higher milk prices will benefit the companies that make fucking milk cartons?

I mean, wouldn't sky rocketing milk prices be cost prohibitive and result in lower volume? Let's all be aware that milk is not gasoline, right?

So, unless there is some giant fucking boom in milk, which "The Fly" is unaware. Higher milk prices do dick for the "milk container shit shovelers," right?

Please confirm my accurate thinking, unless my IQ will continue to drop 1 point per hour--until this milk container issue is resolved.

Comments:
Your analysis is valid. The problem is I believe the higher the IQ the lower the stock profits and the lovwer the IQ the higher the stocks profits.

Oops, thats "lower."

Milk prices are higher so milk carton manufacturers can charge more for the cartons? Inflation feeding inflation?

-DT

They can't charge more for carton, due to higher milk prices.

If I was a milk producer, I'd fucking cut the legs off of any producer who would try to pull that stunt on me.

The only way container prices can go up is if raw materials (plastics, glass) prices soar or volume increases.

You are a dumbfuck fly. I coin more money in one fucking day trading natgas and oil than you do in a whole year boy. Never question what I say ever again. Oh yeah, buy my recommendations and shut your pie hole.

Fuck you Eric Bolling.

By the looks of your fake tan, "The Fly" suspects you are rubbing some light sweet crude on your fucking face.

You know, to look all tan and shit. Stuff like that is important for apple martini drinkers, like you.

rotflmao!

Fly, your framents and other fucktarded grammar errors are making it hard to read your comments. Straighten up.

Off to go on a late night driving adventure.

CYD.. Chinese Diesel engine Mfr.? There have been some issues in regards to the Chinese over regulating highway and road development, but from what I am being told, things are getting better and this could mean high growth for CYD.

Me sooooo hornyyyyy!

hey Fly, regarding HANS, what do you think of this:
"#1 indicator- shelf space at grocery and freezer organization at gas stations. Hansen's product is being pushed aside by big players in this field coke, pepsi, starbucks, red bull."

You win again with CENX!

I would think that higher milk prices would screw the milk carton guys. Higher milk prices means fewer people are buying milk, fewer milk cartons are being sold and fewer profits for the milk carton guys.

But what would I know? My IQ is only 100.

Dinosaur Trader,

I can't see people cutting back on milk if it goes up a little in price.

All those antibiotics that go into the cows find their way into the milk. Makes it addictive. Plus, think of all those hot models with their "milk" mustaches...

And think of all the babies... sorry, think of all the fucking babies. They love that shit.

unless milk will sit on the shelf longer, requiring innovations in packaging to extend shelf life.

Or perhaps packaging will become the competitive advantage. Packaging could lead you to the target segment: kids milk, athletic milk, sophisticated milk. All of these values communicated through packaging.

If the new containers are shaped like juicy milk filled tits, "Oil Barrel" may be on to something......otherwise, I side with the Fly.

HANS is taking a hard fucking beatin this morning...Good to see you are long mr fly...

HANS just threw up its monster energy. Now I sold mine awhile back because I am a pussy that way but wondering if you are intending to pick up some here?

Fucking HANS. If I had only known they weren't reporting before the open...

Milk is being repackaged to be more kid friendly, both with multiple flavors and snazzy bottling. Most school districts have banned soft drink vending machines from the schools and have replaced them with milk vendors. So while the price of milk may be rising more milk is being packaged in smaller containers made from less costly plastics rather than the old paper carton...

Just a thought from a dumbass 140 IQ...

The time machine must've been broken with DIVX and HANS.

Great points, tudor. You have a point on me IQ-wise... that must be why I missed that stuff.

-DT

If you want to keep your IQ up, don't watch CNBC.

Bolling was shooting from the hip if he said OI's growth was being driven by milk. OI's revenue split is 90% glass and 10% plastics. Glass segment has been smoking hot the past 3 years, plastics has done dick.

Although 60% of revenues come from outside the U.S., almost all the year over year growth came from North and South America. Asia and Europe declined sightly.

If the price of milk goes higher then more companies will enter the market with competing brands and this will drive up the demand for milk cartons.
That is my theory and I am sticking with it...
