Closing Comments

Admittedly, with my late day buys, along with some "friends of mine," MVIS firmed up and looked set to close down .05. However, at the close, thanks to Russell Small Cap buying (MVIS is entering the Russell), MVIS printed $5.54.

In short, I just went from getting liquored up and angry to rib eyes and tequila shots (no lime).

As for ARWR:

Look you, just because I mention a stock, does not mean you should put your life savings in it. No stock should make or break you. If so, then you are nothing more than a gambler.

I sold some ARWR because I didn't like the price action. The story is the same and the stock may rip higher on Monday. However, after reviewing some of my positions, I noticed too many micro cap speculative plays, as the market bled out the bulls.

Remember, this is not casino time for me. I am unpredictable and make decisions that benefit my investors. I do not succumb to pressure and will not change my methods, just to placate fucktards on the internets.

The market got stumped, but rates went lower. I feel the market will rally hard on Monday and "The Fly" will resume punching idiots in the sternum.

well said fly

cya next week

Rough day, but great post to end it. Enjoy the weekend.

I-netters: we're all in this together trying to help each other make fortunes through this crazed beast called the stock market.
God, thank you for obliterating New Equity.
When the market takes a Mastodon sized dump down your neck, the last thing anyone needs is a kibitzer like that making Yahoo message board type comments.
If it weren't for the shield of MVIS, most of us would not be able to recover from the gang raping the rest of the port took today.
I-netters, make sure you pray to your God this weekend (hint: The Fly).

Fly,

Have a great weekend. What's Danny got in store?

Did anyone mess with the rebalancing? I'll post my story over at Shortdabull

I won't lie; not a whole shitload. But I have grandiose plans for next time. I am gonna be out of town until sunday because my brother knocked up his wife-status. He lives in LA and is a lawyer. So it'll be something, but this weekend I am resting on my HANS/VLCM laurels. Next weekend my lease is up so I have to move (kill me now) and I have midterms, but I'll do something good.

Maybe HANS epilogue + impromptu MVIS action

danny,

how about some info on ARWR? Whatever you can dig out.

Thanks

I don't know more than anyone else. read the 10-k. outside my area of expertise, it's a story stock. Either the story pans out, or it doesn't.

lawbroker: "Stockhead .. whatcha got on SiRF? I've been trading it for a long time and now looking for re-entry"

LB--
I'll post more of what I have on SIRF this weekend (check my blog)...anything else you can add is welcome. I just bot 2,200s today and have not traded it before, but I like where the company is headed and I like the price here.

Listen up eggheads, this is why professional traders, like the Fly, make money and you don't. Learn this basic lesson from the Fly. Ignore it at your own expense.

Fly,

Can you shed some more light on ARWR so that we don't stupidly sell our shares?

Thanks

Since the market ain't all that lately ... I have a short some may wanna take a look at - BONT . Got it from a friend who's worked in retail forever. He said management doesn't know what the hell they're doing. THe stock broke a one year uptrend & doesn't have technical support for another 5-7 pts down. Its oversold & closing in on the 200dma & 11% of the float is sold short (http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ks?s=BONT), so it may be due for some sort of bounce shortly . But the chart looks like crap & my friend knows the bizz ... never hurts to have a few plays on the dark side to balance out your book. IF the trend is your friend, then this one is pointing south.

tips are for waiters, frenchy

pardon moi monsieur, just throwing it out there

How weird and lucky is it that a Wall Street Prodigy gets his game straight and his jollys posting and maintaining this site. Believe me the people around him must think he is mashugie. I guess when you bank ridiculous coin you can be whatever want.

Look just like NBA,NFL,MLB-this site is entertainment 1st (great writing) and as much financial education as you want. We can all benefit from Broker A and all the active people on the site.

Where else online or in print will you get a rant like the one about "General Contractors" Seriously that is award winning shit (which I will immediately copy and plagiarize).

If you tie the fucker up with censorship...well you can figure out the rest.

BONT almost got LBO'd about a year ago... management walked away from it because they felt there was too much potential growth to sell out. the stock doubled since then

thx Tim ... stock ain't looking to fly at the moment so I'll stay short for now and hope the private equity people stay away for a bit
