Oh well, the day spawned in fucking hell has ended for "The Fly" and friends. If you think the MVIS dip was bad, I know people who are elbow deep in IOC. Tough fucking day.

Aside from the death spiral in MVIS, ARWR "enjoyed" a death spiral of its own. In short, I was staggered today, but remain as belligerent and confident as ever.

As you know, I know many MVIS shareholders. The general tone is "morgue-like," but opportunistic. Basically, other positions are being sold, in order to buy MVIS.

I don't want to hype the internets with more buzz phrases, but this is not game over.

As for the general market:

It sucked cock, with the exception of internet and drug stocks.

All day, there was strength in GOOG, SIFY, VERT, ANSW, FLWS, SINA, ELN, EMIS, EXEL, TECH, CRA and CPHD.

With my money, I sold off some more ARWR, AEZ and even some HANS.

My feeling of the market is somewhat distorted, considering I've been "machine gunned" in a multitude of stocks.

So, for now, I will drink some poor man's whiskey and plan my revenge.

Fuckers.

appreciate your candor .. you own up .. thats fly in my book

I had a bad daytrading start myself but it did turn around when I employed a tactic you will not find in the any of the Harvard business school books. I used the George Costanza (of Seinfeld fame) method. I just did the opposite of what I really wanted to do and of course the $$ started coming back. Now, thats fucktarded.

We've had some big dick swinging days and it'll not be the last of them.

Take this time to recharge the calculator or rebuild the transmission in the time machine, Broker.

Standing by in the energy epicenter of the world...

Micro will come back to break out to new highs. I've been buying all the way down and have over 35% of my assets parked here. Down 15% on average but I have no fear.

Going out for some beers and moon pies tonight.

Fly,

Welcome back. Thanks for coming back. I'm glad you're giving us the bad news straight...and not super-pumping the market like some boneheads out there. Realizing the reality and being smart about the next move is why I enjoy reading your blog.

Game on for the next move.

thanks fly, really appreciate your take on fucked up days like this. mvis will rebound.

Do you think Fidelity was wrong about ARWR? By the way I hate the market with a fucking passion right now and would love to be in full cash. Just my feeling, hopefully I am completely wrong as in the polls. I also am extremely worried about MVIS and feel like I am so levered to it right now. Today I had the "feeling" it was going back into the $3 to $2 range. With that said I will be doubling down on MVIS tomorrow or the next day. That feeling tells me I am feeling almost enough pain.

Gapping--

I understand your worries over ARWR, but MVIS?

What are you fucking retarded?

This stock is up 100% easy, over the last 6 months.

What's wrong with a pullback?

The story is still solid.

This fucker is the next OVTI.

Hi Broker,

I bought some Sept and Dec 5 calls. Do you think contract announcement will be made by that time?

Thanks

i'm hoping reminiscent of HANS 02-Sept. 06

Fly and Danny,

I don't think the general readership is getting the sarcasm.

Thank you for the answers.

I'm planning to "convert" my MVIS shares to Sept and Dec 5 calls so that I have money to buy other stocks (or maybe more MVIS calls). Currently, with Dec 5 calls, I can buy roughly the same amount of MVIS shares with about 1/5 the costs. Is this a good idea?

Also, when the contract is announced, do you think the news alone will propel the stock price above 6 dollars? 7 dollars?

TIA

Broker, thats my point though really on MVIS. I only "felt" that way because I treat it like any other stock and keep thinking something has changed. The fact of the matter is something has changed, they were able to accomplish a big milestone by securing additional funding. This should be a good thing not a bad thing. That is why I will use this dip to buy more.

I remember a while back when MVIS dropped from almost $4 to $3.02 and you posted telling people that if they are worried with the price drop they should get out but you were not worried and were sticking by what you know is a huge story. Well that proved to be a huge opportunity to buy, I believe this will be the same.

ARWR I am not that worried about since I don't have a giant position but its still something to ponder. I do think Fidelity will ultimately be right on it.

Gapping, How many shares is a small position? I own a few hundred at 6.40.

Based on your answer, I think you're really John Kerry. I know we've met.

I feel a teenage girl's ankles at six flags after the last 2 days, but I'm confident that Dr. Fly can sew us back together...

listen, I am a master of dirty, and even I don't quite get what you're saying here.

You are like a young girl with a bloody ass, because it was fucked too hard? And that is your portfolio? You fucking suck. That kinda inappropriate you old fucking perv, and this is from the mouth of a sailor. Christ almighty.

You are like a young girl at six flags, a vertitable kid in a candy store?

50ยข?

You're a pederast, dude.

(Louisville, Ky - AP, June 22, 2007) - A teenage girl has been injured in a gruesome accident at a Kentucky theme park.

Officials at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom say the 13-year-old girl's legs were severed above the ankle on the Superman Tower of Power ride.
It's not clear how the accident occurred. The ride lifts passengers 177 feet straight up, then drops 154 feet, reaching a speed of 54 miles per hour, according to the park's Web site.

The park stayed open after the accident late Thursday afternoon. But the ride has been shut down indefinitely.

Jesus Christ Danny, get your head out of your ass once in a while and pick up a fucking newspaper! This story received NATIONAL FUCKING ATTENTION for like three days... I realize that you go to San Diego State, which explains a lot of this - so I really shouldn't be so upset. SDSU breeds "worker bees" not "leaders", so you damn well better start going the extra mile so that you have a chance against the UCSD kids.

And who the fuck joyrides for 15 minutes while their 325i with shitty chinese M3 replica side-mirrors gets broken into?

http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2007/06/23/six_flags_rides_shut_down_after_accident/ (Wow, they heard about this all the fucking way out in Boston. You're like 300 miles away douchebag)
