Fly Sell: LNN

I sold 15,000 shares of LNN @ $43.50.

Comments:
News flash: The Fly succumbs to Ducati's recommendation to sell LNN.

Fly, tell a funny fucking story, it's Friday, you've had some really good picks these past few weeks, and the market is boring today.

ARWR: good buy here, some breadcrumbs: They placed 3.5M shares and warrants in May with shares bought at $5.78. York Capital. The $16.5M raised is all targeted for Unidym. Unidym has two candidate areas for this money: transparent electrode development, or thin film transistors. I think it's for electrodes; their website says they expect to get commercial scale carbon nanotube-on-plastic film production by 2008.

This is a big deal. Right now, all flat panel guys use indium-tin-oxide (ITO) on plastic film. It's a transparent sheet that helps electrically drive the LCD layer in a panel. Indium is a scarce material; I personally recall at least one big flatpanel stock runup where demand was rumored to be "constrained" by indium supply; it's a real issue and the flat panel guys had their margins signficantly jerked around because of it.

Flat panel guys are highly motivated to look at ITO alternatives because they have no second source technology alternative at present and they're in a viciously competitive business. So Unidym addressable market is the total area size of flatpanels. If the CNT-on-film is a straight substitute for ITO-on-film, then one expects quick adaptation of LCD mfgs to the alternative and a low-risk payoff following the announcement.

I've no clue who the partner might be, but it doesn't really matter. Put this in the category (like MVIS) of obvious ideas that are fated to succeed.

mvis announcement still pending...

My thoughts for the day: I am taking a stand right here balls on the block and saying that LEN should be bought if it gets to 39.50 and then bought down until it bottoms, I think about 38. I expect this bond asshattery to end very soon. I am going to go and talk to the bond guys today, actually meeting a couple next door in about an hour to see just what they are thinking selling off bonds like this. I will be buying TLT at 82.50 or below should they continue to be old farts.

hey broker, there is one week of june left... want to make a bet on the mvis announcement?

g&y: those trades remind me of apocalypse now: "if you eat these shrimp, you'll never have to prove your bravery in any way again". You'll no doubt be right eventually, but your balls could be getting minced on that block for quite a while before you go green, imho. gl.

Jerome:

Excellent info. Thanks for sharing.

Do you know if York Capital is a PIPE investor or a fundamental investors?

Jerome, which did you not like? TLT obviously is trading near a bottom unless you are a fucking retard and think the FED is going to raise rates. So on LEN why don't you like it at the multi-year low? Just trying to get the other side too.

Congress-so many ways to fuck the American people. Fucktard, if you are reading this I want you to kick Hillary in the balls for me.

YORK are fundy dudes ... very saavy people there

although they are raising moolah for a PIPE fund ... not sure what stage its at .. prob its up & running

Thanks Bruce.

I found the 8-K. York was already an investor in ARWR and participated in the offering Jerome referred to. Gotta like it when a fundamental guy increases his investment.

broker you like gmxr here at 36?

Maggot you down nicely on your ARWR position. Keep adding to it on rumors putz.

neweq--

go fuck a skull

NewEq: Why are you such a dick to everyone and everything they buy? God go get laid or something, your a pathetic piece of shit. Its like carrying on a conversation with my dog.

SMSI..

could cash in from competition between VZ and AAPL in smartphones.

g&y - LEN - their PE has gone from 5 to 15 in recent months, and it hasn't been because of the "P" ;) HBs have all demonstrated willingness to cut price/margin in order to preserve some volume. LEN has $1.30 estimate for '07 and $2 for '08, so they have plenty of margin still to cut. So I think next year's multi-year low will be an even better entry...;)

I'm no bond maven, just an old fucktard on the internets who remembers what "high" rates can really be like. We're at a nice bond bottom here depending on whether you're looking at 5yr charts... or 10yr charts. If you're looking at fundamentals, I think macro could keep pushing long rates up and dollar down and the Fed will be irrelevant. But I'd be interested to hear what your bond buddies say.

New Equity is one of those guys who sits here and watches all you guys making real money while he dabbles with his $2k Scottrade account. He's already made 5 trades today. Total gain, .007%. He's always pissed because hes not making jack shit. People that are making money are usually in a good mood, and give good info to others such as the Fly. However, unless NewEqs wife/lover is making him suck his own dick I understand why he would be pissed at you guys too.

Fuck U small pricks. I be up over 100k in the last two years so suck my dick maggot and crude. Keep trading your penny stocks to pay your measly rent in the hood.

NewEquity:

I don't own ARWR. Jerome's summary motivated me to do some work on the name this weekend, though.

Go brush your green tooth.

Stockhead- should have visited my blog when I said SMSI was a no brainer several days ago.

Hey guys, I don't get many right, so when I do, I've got to beat my chest a little.

New Equity- many many market participants, most who have probably traded longer than you've been alive, don't agree on much. However, they do agree that wishing another trader to lose money generally curses the future success of the one who has done the wishing of bad luck.

I live in Sugar Land, TX, not the hood. I currently don't own penny stocks, WNR, MCF, WHT, COP, SU, FTO, MO, UNT, APA, FLI, MIDD, MVIS, HANS, NOV, AAPL, OME and WIN are my only current holdings. I'm glad your up over $100k in 2 years, I however have no need to lie to strangers. I'm just usually here to catch up on the good info this blog dishes out, Ecspecially over HANS and MVIS.
