Quick Alert: Oatmeal Bowl Forthcoming

In order to help out the pathetic market, "The Fly" has ordered the biggest bowl of oatmeal, year to date.

Hopefully, after consuming large quantities of horse food, rates will go down and stocks will trade up.

Developing...

Comments:
Well, we've stabilized since this post was written, so perhaps the oatmeal does help.

What are you going to do if we break to new lows though? This "bounce" feels rather unconvincing.

-DT

Thank you, God (The Fly).

M&A mania ends with rate hikes

Some commentator pointed out this morn that the 10yr auction today will likely be met with heavy demand as bonds are on fire sale at the moment. Not a bad guess. Could provide a point for some near term strength in bonds and make for a nice equity recovery in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, TASR is having a big ol' party (for several pretty good reasons, in fact) and numerous shorts are obviously working today. Long, BBY and SBUX look like they aren't going lower. I know folks here think SBUX is an old-world non-energy, sans-donuts, has-been, but I think they will patiently kick fad butt for the next 30 or 40 years.

Not to worry-NASDAQ will lead a bounce with INTC,ADI,MRVL,etc. leading the way. Note that I did not mention SMH.

Fly, just what the hell is in that oatmeal? You've sparked quite a nice bounce. I will never doubt the oatmeal again.

Jerome:

You mentioned TASR a couple of weeks ago, nice call. I assume you know the story reasonably well. Aside from France, do you know if there are other countries seriously considering it?

I don't think the SEC considers oatmeal to be a market manipulation technique ;) However, it does in fact seem to keep one from doing something stupid while the market is faking you out. Or so I've come to interpret broker's oatmeal binging.

Probably another good day to lambaste MVIS profit-takers as well.

Romania has ordered two million tasers in order to control the Dracula population.

dude, down 95 to down 35? That is one spicy, oated meal.

TASR - I hear Hamas was considering a large order, but they decided it was cheaper to just throw people out of buildings, and the immobilization effect lasts longer...;)

I think every country that's tough on gun control (which is pretty much everyone but us) has a mindset that will lead them to TASR. Europe will be big. And the consumer market here should be big. UK at least has already been trialing.

It's a new reality game show in Gaza between Hamas and Fatah-throw the terrorist. The ratings are catching up to that ever popular kids show-Hamas Mickey.

Thank God I loaded up on QID exactly one year ago today. That move is totally paying off right now!

We all know the QID morons will come sooner or later.

TASR...

After watching this video you may lose your appetite for the company. It's been around for awhile, so you probably saw it. But just in case you missed it...

"Gun control" is good, but these "less than lethal" solutions are more easily abused.

That video really pissed me off. Why is there such a sympathy story for people who get tased? Give me a fucking break. If you listen and adhere to law enforcement officials (like you are supposed to), you don't get tased. If you make them feel threatened, and don't observe their orders, you get tased. It's as simple as that. Live with it and quit making this country into one big pussy fest.

DT you are old and have it all wrong. I agree with crude, the reason those assholes are acting up is because they know the police are using non-lethal weapons, hence the feel that they can act like assholes and get away with it.

First off, I'm about as old as Broker...

Second, the whole "do what you're supposed to do and you won't get tased" thing carries no weight with me. In fact, I think that type of thought is kind of scary.

Dude didn't have his id card... and he was leaving... that shouldn't warrant tasing.
Give him 50 hours community service or something, not 5 or 6 electric shocks!

Anyway, back to stocks!

-DT

He was already cuffed. All they had to do was drag him out. Not to mention that after you get tased, depending on the level of the shock you can be rendered unable to walk for 5-15 minutes. They didn't give him that much time before tasing him again, and again. Fuck those cops, they are paid and trained to make better judgement than that. Those bitches were rendering punishment, which they have no right to do. They should be suspended.

Then there is TAZR giving the cops "taser awards". Which are said to be given out to officers "who save a life in the line of duty through extraordinary use of the taser." Way to go guys, you too can taser a cuffed kid. What a bunch of fagatrons.

If I was that cop, I would have "tased" that fuckers eyebrows off.

Once again, The Fly proves to his readers, he is no pussy.

thank you.
