Sector Spotlight: Energy

Right out the gates, imbecile MVIS shareholders sell their position, due to the warrants being called. I must say, when I see wholesale idiocy, like this, I take a break from throwing shit at my trader/servant and chuckle, not laugh.

Fucktards of the internets, the company has successfully increased the share price of MVIS, so that the company may call in the warrants. As you can see, the stock is down on light volume, which tells me only retards hit the bid.

The fact of the matter is most warrant holders are large institutions. They are not licking their chops, waiting to sell MVIS, once they convert. Like most big money management firms, they have a longer term investment philosophy, than you internet chicken heads, clicking away on Ameritrade.

Plain and simple, MVIS has cash, lots of it. There is no longer the need to worry about financing or burn rates. My sense, this paves the way for the next piece of news, which will ultimately poleax the bears into oblivion.

This sell off is amateur hour.

Aside from that, Energy stocks look good. Once again, the scholars in Nigeria are blowing each other up, sending oil prices higher. With my money, I will buy more AEZ and nibble at GMXR.

Finally, it's worth noting, I have decided to cease paying for my own phone calls, despite the fact the cost is negligible. Instead, since "The Fly" is so important and successful, from now on he will call collect. That's right, and if you are on the phone, busy with business, I will have the operator "emergency interrupt" your call--collect.

In short, nothing tells a friend "fuck you, I'm better," than a collect call.

NOTE: I will be away for the remainder of the day. I have a pressing matter to attend.

Comments:
Any idea what makes people sell in a time like this? I mean I am green myself and have a good position in MVIS, but why sell
when the company have loads of cash.
+ they have the Osram manufacturing deal
+ they will most likely get a accessories deal or cellphone manufacturing deal.
+ Alexander Tookman isn't actually green in turning a company profitable (GN Medical if I recall correctly), and he has done a good job so far,

You can thank SMH and the related chip stocks for holding the NASDAQ up. They are relatively untouched by higher interest rates.

HANS is stronger than a bull's dick after a Monster Khaos.

zylo, fear makes people sell. Your confidence is due to fly's generous handholding. You are the second level of sucker.

Actually my confidence is that i read my homework about the company and the ceo, + i am a technology freak and I believe they have a kick ass product.

FYI - MVIS, ARWR, & ONT (added to two funds) will all be added to the Russell 3000 index tomorrow.

All these little brain-dead bitches would jump off a cliff if Fly told them too. While sucking Fly's cock.

I shorted mvis today at 5.19.

LNN IS ON FUCKING FIRE!!!!

g'luck grant, better buy some calls to hedge. ........

oooooooooooooops

Die MVIS ha.

Yeah, LNN en fuego!

Grant,

That's amazing, I see the low of the day in MVIS at 5.25! You managed to short it BELOW the worst price of the day thus far!

Trading at 5.48 now... I think it's absorbed the news quite nicely given the run up of the last 2 months.

-DT

ARWR sucks big time. I'm curious to know when this thing is going to bottom. Anybody think the formal inclusion into the Russell 3000 will give it near term pop?

Funny how the haters come around when Fly is gone...lmao...

No shit, 'shedder. What's with all these hater's drinking haterade, walking around in their hater skin boots?

Oh I'm not a hater...woody.

I just want the damn thing to go up. :)

Wood:
CORS is approaching the rare octagonal bottom since March. You think this has to be worth getting the dice out with that yield??

LNN up 4.67! I guess this is the massive short squeeze that Fly said would surely come and send the stock to 50.

Pretty darn good call there.

-DT

Yes. King Fly sure used his time machine on this one to help us leeches. He's awesome.

Ameritrade investor! I am taking my ball and going home.

Is LNN really up 30% in under two weeks? Thanks for that call.

Thanks again for LNN flyboys.

jog on
new

ps. bought arwr this morning.

Fly is God.
Sold some of his BWLD yesterday at 47.10; today it's down 6%.
I'm sure he'll now buy it back and watch it print 50.
Sorry, religious zealots and haters, this is just one more example of why He is God.

Cafe- nothing about CORS chart looks good to me. It is at strong support. I would look for a confirmation that support would hold before I would dip my feet in there.

LNN should continue to rip toward 50. However I would not cuss someone who took 1/3 off the table here. I know Fly sold 1/4 yesterday and will probably be selling the other 1/4 today. I myself sold 1/3 of my position into this.

I sold mine today at 41. Thankfully I have more in another longer-term account, and I sold some of that in the 44s.

I'm kicking myself for selling some at 41 but I thought this would take a little bit longer to develop.

Whatever, I'm not complaining.

For a laugh, read the above.

Holly shit the Ducati has been wrong on every single stock!

So I feel like a total dumbass noob. I have a couple thousand MVISW which I desire to convert-- but not quite attune to the conversion procedure. I dialed the number offered on the MVIS press release only to find that's it been disconnected. I use a online discount broker. Is there a Q&D procedure that someone can point me to?

Thanks for your help

justin, call ir you twit. after that buy a mutual fund or etf.

I called my broker this morning to exercise. I was on the line when they sent the wire request. They're taking care of everything - no charge.

Ducati sucks.

Jeremy,

I guess being called a twit is better than being called a twat. Regardless, we all have to start our education process somewhere. I've chosen to include this blog (and it's readers) in that process. Thanks for your help (or lack thereof).

Caffeinated,

I appreciate your to the point answer.

SUNW on fucking fire. Well as much as it could ever be. It's all relative.

LNN...
"Yeah, LNN en fuego"

...and is way ahead of itself today. Nice call by fly though, and all those who got in in the low 30's.

I like the stock, but trees don't grow to the sky overnight.

I dragged my feet and missed the boat on this one so I'm holding off with hopes of buying it under $40. If I can't, I will buy it all the way up to $50. Were it not for ego, I would just buy it here and be done with it.

LNN should see $80 within 3 years based on a multiple of 28x, assuming eps growth @ 24%/yr. I think Fly pegged the multiple in the low to mid 30 range(?), which puts it around $95 @ a 33x multiple.

It's still a great buy here if you plan on holding. A 75%-80% return in 3 yrs is still acceptable in my book.

Congress attempts to delay the Blackstone offering and the tax they want to put on Hedge Funds will be the end of this bull run IMO.

HANS is kicking Herb Greenberg's money-losing ass down the figurative flight of stairs.

"Congress attempts to delay the Blackstone offering and the tax they want to put on Hedge Funds..."

...that's because half of Congress is on the boards of private equity funds / hedge funds, or will be eventually.

"Congress attempts to delay the Blackstone offering and the tax they want to put on Hedge Funds..."

Get real.

Justin,

just sell the warrants & buy the stock. there, u just converted.

I'm getting an eerie feeling...Fly IS coming back though right???

Fly does not exist. This blog has been written by the inmates at the New York State Pen. and the warden has decided to shut it down.

Shorted a fly favorite Mvis with my cash.

jog on,
ducunti

Thanks New. Perhaps you could short a bit more so that I can get in at a better cost basis for my long.

Looks like yields on the ten year are soaring. This can't be good.

Nice block just printed on HANS. I wonder if it's short covering or the real thing...?

So does this mean this guy just bought a bunch of options @ $5.68 exercise price, which he cannot exercise until after 6/13/08??

no yoka tokau. Market will be down 400 points tomorrow i am hearin. Watch and learn.

Yoka:

He was granted 10 year options to buy MVIS stock at $5.68 as compensation for serving on the board. He didn't "buy" them in the sense that he exchanged money for the options. He earned them thru his service as a member of the board of directors.

The options don't vest until 6/13/08. That means he is prohibited from exercising them before that date.

CORS special dividend of $1 per share.

Off the hook.

Thanks for the explanation Maggot.

broker still sleeping on uss.

Can someone improvise some Closing Comments at least?

-DT

MVISW...just to set the record straight...

My understanding is that:

assuming ALL the warrants called in are exercised by the 07/06/07 expiration date, there will be an additional 12.9 million shares of MVIS added to the float.

($2.65 X 12.9 million = $34.2 mil--a nice payday for MVIS.)

All the warrants should be exercised. Paying $2.65 /sh for MVIS, assuming a cost for the warrants of under $2.70 is still a good deal at these levels. It's important that the stock price stay at the very least, at these levels going into July 6.

I saw where someone has a bid out at $2.48 for 2500 MVISW at the close today-- hoping to pick up MVIS for $5.13. Nice try, but that shouldn't fill based on the $5.45 closing price--or, let's at least hope it won't fill---ever.

(Fly, am I correct in my understanding of all this? Isn't MVISW losing time value as we get closer to July? How would you expect it to trade from now until then? ---Sorry about the long post---I am a warrant ignoramus)

stockhead. this is why we will see an announcement with a large mobile partner before then. this will see that all of the warrants are converted

All, I'm pretty hyped about the Halo 3 release date. Now the game runs on the Xbox platform which is MSFT's product. Any thoughts on how the Xbox sales will do after the release of this game title on Sept 25?

CLOSING COMMENTS
Okay, listen up all you internet Fucktards and rejects from society. Stocks ended up after initially getting hammered. Semis were strong all day and were even up when the market was down in the AM. Hang onto MVIS Asshats. Interest rates were up so be careful out there. I made so much $$$ today I will be feasting on a two and a half inch thick ribeye. My trader/servant gets the leftover oatmeal.

t c --

you have metaphorically snatched the pebble from the fly-meister's hand. Time for you to leave.

jeremy--thanks for your comment on the mobile partner--I hadn't accounted for that...MVIS...jog on (???)

Decent fucking job on the closing comments mini broker a but I'm sure he lost money today holding MVIS and ARWR bags.
