Late Day Thought

Alan Greenspan should be arrested and charged with the destruction of the sub-prime mortgage market and saboteur of "The Fly's" broken time machine.

In other news, the market will bottom, once some of these mortgage fuckers go under and people feel the Fed will cut rates.

More on this tomorrow.

Comments:
I keep telling you, Fly, lose the bias and you can be a god...keep the bias and you'll be a god about .618 percent of the time!

61.8%, yo

who the fuck are you Pete? Coach to the Gods?

cause you don't get him, he should change to suit your IQ or lack thereof, to make Petey happy?

Get a clue dude... better yet, find a sense of humor before you wake up with your eyebrows on the floor

The Fed is up shit creek with out a paddle.

Brent- got any ideas for shorts?

the futures are down 100 points already. Say goodbye to all your gains people.

needs a final flush out.

Good for "the system."

(Cue video)

Yo Brent I thought Acel was gonna bust a cap! Shit I think you need to bust a nut. WU TANG!

Everybody worshiped him when he was slashing rates and their shitty tract houses were doubling. Fuck him.

Godzilla ate Japan.

Stupid fucking deadbeat trailer park Americans.

Fuckface losers.

I want to punch the eyebrows off the loan managers. The whole lot of them.

Tokman is a player.

I just reserved this domain:

http://www.flybankscoin.com/

However, being that I no longer bank coin, I will melt it down, via internet laser beam.

Get Short! My blog is back in style. I should consider selling the site sooner than later. Maybe someone can improve it and take it out of the 3rd tier realm of shitty blogs.

Just listened to that call. Tokman is a pimp with a SERIOUS limp. He answers questions with such grace, and a "fuck you for even insinuating otherwise" in his voice. I'm holding this until "event horizon".

Are we setting up for a Black Monday? Down tomorrow...blood in the streets on Monday...then?

You must be high on crack. Tomorrow is Wednesday.

Go back to sleep.

This is a good read if you haven't already read. Bill Gross August Commentary. http://www.pimco.com/LeftNav/Featured+Market+Commentary/IO/2007/IO+August+2007.htm

Wood, yes the entire Residential RE sector:

Here is a short list:
ESS
FRT (needs to break 500 dma)
MAC
VNO
AKR
JLL
BXP
AVB

Most of these are below there 500 dma and they may try and kiss it good bye. So I would look to short on any bounce, however, I agree the best thing may be to just sit this market out until things shake out. I have chatted with the CEOs of two of Southern California's largest home builders at a golf tourney and they are doing there best to bail. Builder loans are drying up. I don't expect a bottom until 2010 -2012 in residential RE. Certain countercyclical markets will hang in there but the rest is toast. The residendial REITs will not be immune to this collapse imho.

Good list.

I'm thinking a little more devious. For example, who owns AHM and RAS.

Well, unfortunately, GS is a big time shareholder in both.

And, several smaller tier advisory firms, like Eubel Brady.

Firms will go under, thanks to AHM. They were big.

There are several stock that may get hit, as liquidations begin.

In that case, would you short GS? Did you close out your BSC and LEH positions? Not that I'm panicking or anything.

Futures are still down big but S&P are about 30% off lows and NASDAQ futures are 50% off low. JP Morgan in Europe looks good as does AAPL. Some of the chip companies aren't off much. SBUX is up in Europe. Go back to sleep.

A short note re: market manipulation. I believe the IPO price for BX (Blackstone) was $31 and traded in the upper 30's during the opening day. Its now about $24. I believe the quiet period ended yesterday so lo and behold BX is upgraded by at least two Brokerages. I don't know if they (Banc of America,Deutsche) had a connection with the underwriting but I wouldn't be surprised. Its all Bullshit and the unknowing public are like lemmings.

da bulls 47.2 vs 53.9 last wk

da bears 26.4 vs 18.0

le correction 26.4 vs 28.1

Fly do you think this is a good speculation about MOT and MVIS relationship.

MOT bought symbol tech(doesn't symbol have a similar mini projector with 2 mems). After buying I'm assuming MOT engineers have been working on trying to fit symbols(projector) design in to cell phones. So, MOT is may be lot further ahead compared to say NOK if they were to sign with MVIS and start from the begining. May be MOT has tinkered around with video card and other readjustment needed to make a projector fit inside a phone. And may be that's why MOT was the first to jump on board, and may be because they know it will take time for other companies to catch up to where they are, they announced their name. Just trying to speculte and read between the lines.

Fly boy, You DA best. I bet you were down only .01% yesterday and your still up 40% for the year, right? lol
