No Stock Picks= You're Fucking Fired: Update: Elections

Special Update:

Unbeknownst to "The Fly," Crude Broker posted his stock picks, just prior to this fucktarded post. If "The Fly" was familiar with the emotion called compassion, he'd apologize. However, since that is not the case, I give you "elections."

In my opinion, Crude's last post is worth perusing and should get him votes. With oil above $70 per barrel, and the prospect of devastating hurricanes knocking supply offline, it makes sense leaving a weekend blogger, who is well versed in oil stocks, on board. You know, just to hash things out for me.

However, as you know, this blog was not created to make "sense." If it was, I wouldn't waste my fucking time, talking to imbeciles, in the first place.

End of Special Update

Although I had fun, sifting through Crude Broker's numerous grammatical, spelling and syntax errors, he failed to honor the first rule of Fly's house.

When you come here, bring your fucking A game. Which means: prior to posting long, tedious, meaningless, posts, you better make sure it can make me money. Thus far, I have lots of red ink on my monitor, yet no stock pick.

Now, I know it's hard to compete with a man who is known for entertaining space aliens with magic tricks, but take a swing fucker. Even the worst hitter can knock one out, every once in a while.

So, if "Crude Fucker" fails to give me a God damned stock pick, within the next hour (12am eastern, aka the only time zone that counts), he will join Ducati in the shitcan of the internets.

Time is ticking.

UPDATE: My "calculator brain" just informed me that "time doesn't tick." Actually, old, stupid clocks tick.

So, the old, stupid clock is ticking.

NOTE: In the event Crude gives a stock pick, "elections" will begin, shortly thereafter.

NOTE II: Elections have begun. Should I shitcan Crude Broker?

Comments:
Wow.

Apparently, Crude had a huge post ready to go, as I prepared to fire him.

Let the Elections begin.

Is there news on BWP out there that we do not know of yet?

Crude,

I voted for you to stay, now go vote on my site:

www.madstocks.blogspot.com

great video of crude broker.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1LcdSwvIN8

Fly--

My vote is cast in favor of crude broker. Please do not push the eject button on him.

crude--

talk about turning your term paper in at the last moment. Good job, though---there are some interesting names research.

Any thoughts on KED? They are a BDC focused on investing in midstream companies that are private.

By the way, (with shotgun in hand) what was your #1 pick again?

here he is typing a post for FLY.

Nikkei up 225. More coin for Asians to spend at OEH hotels and MPEL casinos. Nice job this weekend Crude. I like BWP.

If AKRX can nudge above 7 in the morning, it should break out.

yeah, bros---I get it---you like watching guys play with themselves. What a gay post...by the way, it seems there's a goat-herding village in Albania missing an idiot. Coincidence?

wow that vid is nasty bros. keep that fuckin shit outtta here.

Lots of flappin', no valuable content, dump this guy, Fly.

I'm thinking of jettisoning VLO first thing Monday morning and immediately rotating that cash right into IMMR or SYNA. Not liking crack spreads or refiners generally right now. Tech (and metals) just about ready to explode. Freakin' PCU and CENX. Thoughts?

yeah, i'll be straight up--I got enough shit to sort through before I want to read 40 different 10-ks of some midstreams. no pick, no play, good day.*

*yeah, it's trademarked bitch.

but I did vote to no, so I can continue scrutinizing.

I'm buying more MVIS above 5.10 check out the chart.

You will blow up your brokerage account buying SYNA.

imagine him walking into your office and (slowly, with "impromptu" "humor" befitting an underweight 12 year old) reading you a piece of direct-mail pump literature on the oil and gas sectors address to "resident".

(I did.)

"security will escort you out."

No vote here - the jury's still out. As Fly says, keep him thru hurricane season & lets see how his picks pan out.

Crude, you familiar with TXCO? fm http://www.minyanville.com/articles/txco-cop-pxx.v-oil-gas-pearl-pearsall-kwk-crzo-chk-dvn-eca/index/a/13326

My picks (If you give a shite)

BRLC

MNAP.OB

YOU WILL SEE!!

I VOTE NO--KEEP HIM!

I picked BRLC last week and told you why I liked it. Well its up 17% in pre-market today.

CORRECT: Syntax-Brillian Backs 4Q View Rev $190M-$210M >BRLCLast update: 7/16/2007 6:57:20 AMDOW JONES NEWSWIRES Syntax-Brillian Corp. (BRLC) said it raised its revenue outlook for the calendar year ending Dec. 31 to a range of $1.1 billion to $1.3 billion, up from $950 million to $1.1 billion previously. The Tempe, Ariz.-based manufacturer of high-definition televisions cited "strong demand and the deployment of the proceeds of our public stock offering in May as well as the cash from the accounts receivable collections." The company's fiscal year ended June 30. Syntax-Brillian Corp. also reaffirmed expectations for revenue of $190 million to $210 million in the fourth quarter ended June 30; Wall Street's average view stands at $196 million, according to estimates compiled by Thomson Financial. In addition, the company is projecting quarterly gross margins "within or above the top half" of the range of 15% to 17% previously forecast. Syntax-Brillian anticipates reporting results for fiscal 2007 not later than the second week of September. Shares of Syntax-Brillian lost 16 cents, or 2.8%, to end Friday's trading at $5.56. Syntax-Brillian reiterated its outlook for its fiscal fourth-quarter revenue, expecting $190 million to $210 million. The company also expects fiscal fourth-quarter gross margins to be at the high end of its 15% to 17% projection. (Headlines at 6:31 a.m. and 6:32 a.m. misstated the period.) (MORE TO FOLLOW) Dow Jones Newswires

By the way if anyone gives a fuck my other pick that I posted and still love the fuck out of is MPEL.

HONG KONG (Dow Jones)--Macau's casino gambling revenue in the second quarter rose 50% to MOP19.57 billion (US$2.45 billion) from MOP13.03 billion in the year-earlier period, the Chinese territory's Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau said Monday. The city's casino gambling revenue for the first half rose 47.5% to MOP37.97 billion from MOP25.75 billion in the same period last year, the casino regulator of the former Portuguese enclave said. The regulator didn't elaborate on the figures it disclosed on its Web site, but analysts said earlier they expected new casinos and a rise in the number of tourists from mainland China to Macau would boost casino gambling revenue. Macau is the only place in China where casino gambling is legal. Sociedade de Jogos de Macau SA, one of Macau's six casino operators and controlled by casino magnate Stanley Ho, opened the Grand Lisboa casino and hotel in February. Melco PBL Entertainment (Macau) Ltd. (MPEL) opened its first casino-hotel in the city, Crown Macau, in mid-May. Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS) and Wynn Resorts Ltd. (WYNN) also operate casinos in Macau.

I thought Crude did an excellent job. Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Give him a list of oil picks, feed him for life.

Lots to sort through, yeah, but we should all be doing our own DD anyway.

Let's see what he can bring next weekend. Perhaps a video, "a la Danny" where he goes to gas stations and inquires about "pipelines".

-DT

By the way on the BRLC front 40% of the float is short with a huge increase as of late. A squeeze is very possible.

MVIS finally announced how much it got from its warrants

ASTI breaking out.

is AKRX gonna break out?

I hope so. It still looks good on multiple time frames, however it needs to break above $7 today or I will start to lighten up. Everything points to it breaking out on the upside, but we need confirmation. Take a look at ELNK. Patience. SIRI and XMSR are finally showing signs of life as well.

GapnYap,

Nice one on BRLC.
Mucho gracias.

XMSR looks good for a swing trade IMO.

Thanks Yoka. By the way they honestly do make great price/value TV's.

CPST, still looks good.

Excellent effort, Crude. Funny links. But suggesting a gazillion stocks with energy exposure isn't hugely helpful. Might as well just buy the XLE.

Gapping, Playboy has been a perennial turnaround story. But I'm thinking their entry into Vegas and Macau casinos might be the real deal. Have you done any work on it or does anyone have an opinion about Playboy stock?

I don't like Playboy much but I do think that their addition the MPEL will boost MPEL's position. I am a buyer of MPEL here and have been buying for awhile. Its a sizeable position for me.

you are underwater then.

CENX, AA, SID, etc...metals melt up this week.
