Closing Comments

SPECIAL EMERGENCY NEWS ALERT: You EMC fuckers better take your canned sales pitch to Yahoo message boards. If I see one more comment, regarding how "sweet" or "awesome" EMC is, thanks to VM Ware, I will kill your cats. All of them. For the record, I hope and pray EMC goes to zero, or worse.

Off to eat some swordfish.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today's reversal in the financials was severe and will beget more selling tomorrow. As for me, I managed to squeak out a 1% gain, via shorts, day trades and rebounding dogs.

As you know, "The Fly" spits at those fuckers who invented "quant funds." Moreover, if given the chance, he'd ("The Fly") make sure the manager's of those funds had their eyebrows punched off.

As far as I'm concerned, the market cannot go higher, until the investment banks guide down their numbers and let you sheeple know how badly they fucked up.

Talking to people, I can tell you, without pause, the over leveraged hedge fund guy is going to need lots of viagra, going forward.

Today, I witnessed brutal reversals in the metals, financials and retail sectors. There was nominal strength in the trannies and big industrial names, but not much.

For the most part, I feel the quick money will be made by betting against the market. Meaning: sell into rallies, buy into dips.

As for LAZ:

Those fuckers will have to guide numbers down big. More than 60% of their revenue is from m&a. See you at $35, lazy fuckers.

Comments:
is it wise to sell a small mvis position to buy it back at a lower price?

No.

It has already been discounted. There is more news to come.

But their patents are worthless.

Odd, no?

To the man management should be *fired*. They are a disaster waiting to happen.

Tread on.

Somebody was asking about gold. I'm not sure if I mentioned FCX. Has had a safe little pullback if you're into that kind of stuff, you know, gold!.

Gold is for idiots, or girls who invest in jewelry.

...and persians

fly,
do you think markets are stable or is there more pain to come?

Ben Stein is a pimp.

Crude,
I'm betting big on FCX. Their valuations are dirt cheap compared to the sector as well as the S&P.

FCX is more of copper than gold. Unless we find ourself in the midst of a worldwide recession FCX is the way to play the emerging markets.

I like FCX as well. It's a hometown name, I almost bought some this morning, but think I can get it a little lower.

Growing up in Lawn Guyland, we called it "Fee'poht."

GG will be worth it this December, when you're buying your Christmas presents.

You don't want to be short tomorrow, or Wednesday. Not even the homies.

Many, many chicken heads.

Anyone get into EMC? I have been buying and bought a lot on Friday. Up 14% since then and the IPO priced above. I think it still has more left to move depending on the VMWare IPO's movement.

is anyone else glad they loaded up on EMC in the low 17's on Fri?.....VMware IPO looks good, I was fortunate to get 1K shares, anybody else participating?

You EMC fuckers make me sick.

Im happy iv'e been in since 15

I've been selling for three tech companies over 18 years. EMC has always kicked my and colleagues asses even the few good times we "won" a deal. I own them secretly since the 12’s, but don’t tell the boss. Vmware has the goods. Don’t know if I got an allocation yet, so I'll be trading shit for steak if I do.

VMW stock price will affect EMC in about $10:$1 ratio. IPO should price at $29, so if you consider all the valuations on it (from $35 - $ 50), there could be $1 - $2 move in EMC short-term.

Personally, I think EMC is fully valued at $19 - $ 20 , and the VMW IPO is already baked in...

Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? Ben Stein should have won an Academy Award for his role as the teacher in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I know he has been in a bunch of movies and TV shows in addition to being Richard Nixon's speech writer.

Stock--

Guard your cats, son.

Sorry Fly--

I didnt see your emergency news alert.

EMC shareholders can go fuck a can of corn. How's that?

I'm alergic to cats but I'm still sorry for being the first EMC shill today. It was just an easy trade for a quick gain which is part of what I look for on this blog.

All of you crude oil and natural gas freaks should be aware of a potential hurricane near Florida this weekend. The models aren't sure if its going to hit Florida, go in the Gulf or make a turn North close to Hispanola. I suspect the usual oil plays will start going up Thursday or so.

Hurricane poses no effect on EMC/VMW.

I hate cats. and don't even think about fucking with the dog, junior.

So what's the beef with EMC anyway? I got over my deal with them. Maybe a little MCHX instead?

BYW, LZ looking good and off the shit list.

Good hurricane site.

http://www.ih2000.net/ira/bmt-wth.htm

Keep an eye out on CLR, and, if you really want to have some fun buy BRN in this range (high $18s) sell the fucker at $22.

Then repeat.

Some stupid fuck that goes by cheesefries was pumping EMC 2 weeks ago. I heard the fucker drove an el camino and had a mullet.

Crude--your thoughts on CHK?

CHK is good here

I like OMNI as a hurricane play

nevermind, fuck CHK

really spec hurricane plays FUEL & BDCO

Hurricane play: EP, UNG

EP is good for your grandkids portfolio, not a hurricane play. UNG is at the mercy of the fucking mafia locals down at the NYMEX who will sell natty down so low you shit yourself just so they can pay for their steak dinner at Mark Joseph. FUEL is good, not familiar with BDCO. CRED is doing well from what I hear.

Christ allmighty I never knew my EMC post would set off a shitstorm. Since Broker is cursing my cats I will sell the shit tomorrow and buy more MVIS. By the way I will have you know that running 10 OS's on one piece of hardware is for faggots and degenerate gamblers who like betting everything on black. Good luck should your processor shit the shower. That said I still like EMC until the close tomorrow :)

Aye, tha' were nothin'!

Aye, me fambly's owned EMC since the whalin' days in the 18th century, when EMC stood for "Eastern Mucous Company" and we hadda plumb the whale mucous outta the skools o' the daid sparm whales... night and day... toilin' under tha' whale oil lamps, fer a skanty profit!

Aye, but me Great great great grandpappy's sacr'fice twas worth it, aye!

Ah, 'cause we ha' the shahrs ahta mere tuppence a shahr!!
