Closing Comments

At the end of the day, access to liquidity makes the difference between "Joe Fucktard" and "Joseph Coinmore." Many small investors were wiped out, during the recent 10% decline.

They were over leveraged and under diversified.

On the other hand, those with liquidity or the ability to add dollars into bullshit brokerage accounts fucking banked coin--buying at the bottom.

Naturally, most of you were wrong, and shorted at the bottom--like some sort of retarded submarine operator. Those with balls stepped in and bought FCX, CENX, RS and others-- at bargain basement prices.

My point: If you are poor, quit trying to play this market. You will, eventually, have your face punched off.

Stick with mutual funds.

Today, I banked more coin, as the basic resource stocks charged and "mud stomped" the shorts. As you know, currently, I am long ATI, RS and KALU.

In short, today was uber impressive, with big gains in a variety of sectors. Even old takeover plays are bullish again, like OEH.

My game plan is to squeeze the market, until the DOW hits 13,500, then consider some hedges.

My buy list includes: FMCN, ATI, CN, IIG, HANS, UNG and LNN.

Comments:
The amount of haters posting comments on this blog is at a fresh 52 week high.

It's much easier, intellectually speaking, to attack someone with personal attacks and emotion. It is much more difficult to offer substantive arguments based on fact.

In short, fuck the haters.

MMX--

Don't you know not to comment?

You are banned. I hate you.

Well you got one thing going for you on ATI....

Tim Knight (Slope of Hope blog) has singled it out for one of his "can't miss" shorts.

I like Tim and everything, but they don't call him "stopped clock" for nothin'.

If UYM had better volume it would make sense to go long. These bull sector ETFs are great except the volume stinks.

I'm exhausted playing NYC - I'm going up to my farm for the weekend before I return to Flagstaff.

It was interesting that there was some fear posted into MVIS this am
so I sold a big position out and then after doing some research I reentered that position .10 lower - actually resettling my basis lower.
As for the comment on Tim Knight -
a permabear - he is one of the brightest technicians posting on the net - I don't think he is ever in a net loss portfolio at any point of any year. My other favorites are Broker A (aka the fly) Brian at alpha trends - I've listed them previously. You will note that Broker A related that he will make some adjustments at 13,500 - it is not alone a bearish
statement - it's a respect for where the bears are waiting.

As for any of you who have related previous comments of mine to some other unliked posters - go fuck yourselves. It's wonderful to get first hand what "the Fly" is doing
there is a cost however - the quality of posters. Most of you post short comments as you have difficulty in the thought process to complete a full sentence.

Not sure what u....

The subprime mess will be with us for a while, no doubt.

Perhaps somebody can explain to me the transaction of Dubai World in the puchase of 20% of MGM. I believe Dubai World is owned by the Dubai Government and Islam has a strict prohibition against gambling. Hypocritical Bullshit?

Broker -

UNG trade may be on fire in two weeks, if these tropical waves off the coast of Africa strengthen.

Jake Gint / Tim Knight / ATI

"I like Tim and everything, but they don't call him "stopped clock" for nothin'." - jake gint

I reviewed Tim Knight's post on ATI
I reviewed the chart. Tim said he was considering "puts" - his chart
looks like he will be entering his puts at 97 - Fly's entry point on the way up - If it bounces off 97 and goes up - it is a good choice
if it goes through 97 - the next reistance is at approx 94.8. Oh God - that's not Tim's opinion it's mine. So In review, Fly bought it as it passed on the way up through 97 - and Tim will probably set his puts if (IF) it
goes back thru 97 towards a lower position. Jake - Where do you sit?

"I like Tim and everything, but they don't call him "stopped clock" for nothin'."

Jake - who are "they?"

Got this info from the Q's msg board on yhoo: What do you think guys?

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/op?s=SPY

10K contracts on 12 different strikes.. they are verified by specialists as real.
The trades are verified.. several people called and asked. They are spreads. They sold covered calls...

The question is .. did someone mess up and sell short 5K calls at 12 different strikes then rip them back off and get caught with the spread for the mistake... a 4.8 million dollar boo boo.

Orr... someone made a RAW bet on a major crash within 4 weeks of 1.7 BILLION dollars.

Tim Knight is right about once a week every year. I visit his sight often. He's a Nick Taleb Permabear who hopes for the big downdraft so he can make as much he can back from all the miserable thousand cuts he's endured for the previous 51 weeks.

Sure, he sets his stops, but he's losing money every time. As I said, it's Taleb's strategy as well, and I think he even raised a schit pot of money to experiment with that strategy (Taleb not Tim), but not one I'd recommend for those who haven't sold their bidness to a big online trading concern.

As for your previous comment:

Most of you post short comments as you have difficulty in the thought process to complete a full sentence.

I believe that attempt at clarity belongs in the dictionary under "Irony, n."

lol
