I'm just buying until someone else finds out how cheap these fuckers are.

Heh. Good old HANS.
I "bought" it more than 20 years ago.
Yep. Dumb kid not long out of college. Took a call at work from a Denver-based boiler-room broker. Bought some worthless OTC stock being sold by crooked insiders. Some sort of medical-clinic business.
I eventually dumped 3/4 of it at about an 80% loss. Threw the rest of the certificates in a file drawer and let them drift down to a 99% loss. Considered it tuition for my Investing 101 course.
The shell got used for one business or another, and then was finally used to bring Hansen's public. A real company, at least, but, at the time, it mostly sold "natural" fruit sodas that didn't have a molecule of fruit in them. Zzzz.
Fast forward a few years, and I start reading about the huge runup in Hansen's shares. I investigated, and damn if I wasn't a shareholder. A very small holder after all the reverse splits, but enough to make up all my losses and then some.
Still have to dig the certificates out and dust them off and get them to a transfer agent, though.

Yea, but we love the personal touch stories, even when they're as full as shit as yours neweq. Kiss me on the shit-eating lips queer boy.
Look up Continental Ventures.
But that was the shell phase. I'm trying to remember the name of the clinic business. Somewhere in PA, I think.

On a serious note, does anyone here know a really good steakhouse in Atlanta? Unfortunately, I have to travel there on business next week, and need a good place to grab a bite.
once, while i was on a road trip, i ate too many corn dogs and left a "continental venture" in in a pristine Sunoco restroom outside Philly. it was so perfect i didn't flush. maybe that's what you bought?
Yep, its the peachtree steakhouse on peachtree st or ave. Next to peachtree circle. Right of the peachtree express toll. In the peachtree plaza.
I dont, sorry.
I dont, sorry.
Steak? You can get that anywhere.
Go to Mary Mac's and get some local flavor (with all the other out-of-towner's, of course).

Or go to the Varsity and eat onion rings until your arteries beg for mercy.
I'm afraid I don't know of any Atlanta restaurants that serve horse meat.

Now boomer's got a story I can appreciate. Where's that gapping guy? He can pen some interesting fiction.
Schwab got its system back up with hamsters and duct tape. It was working until the tape made contact with the fur.
Where's the class-action lawsuit? This is America, dammit. Our lawyers can turn a fart into a Cat 5 overnight. I'm tired of waiting. I'm gonna go pack for my hiking trip in the Yucatan.
