That "scream" never gets old.
However, Maria's "the market is positive" YELP from yesterday was old almost immediately.

So we need to see what the wind patterns are coming off the coast of Texas and Mexico. If they can push it up and out some we are fucking money.

I remember when Maria first showed up on the scene, a lot of guys thought she was a red hot smokin' babe.
Now look at her...older, louder, witchier.
It's remarkable how a whiny voice and a fat ass can really be a detriment to how a woman is perceived a man. But, then again, that probably explains 99% of heterosexual relationships today.

If everyone in Jamaica inhales at the same time, Dean may weaken:
If, as currently indicated, Dean tracks directly over Jamaica, we will have to reevaluate everything. Jamaica has quite large mountains in the center of the island and Hurricanes do very poorly when passing over high elevations. Jamaica could do quite a number on our storm and knock his strength down significantly with the right conditions.

Holy schit my BLUD is roaring into my pelvic region, giving me a rager of Dean-iac proportions.
Be careful this Dean doesn't do the same thing as his Iowa Atomization Anthropomorph did.
Cry and die.

Aside -- isn't economics a farking ironic science?
Checkout the Nikkei over the last couple of weeks... Japanese currency strenghthens and KA-FLUCKING-BOOM, the Nickster craps the bedsheets like a dissenteric infant.
These fixed income bajillionaire (U.S.) hedgies spend the last seven or so years bending over and reaming the Nipponese currency and the Nikkei comes back from the near-dead. However, when even these robber barons and countesses tire from making too many kajillions (and the result of their excess brings the global credit markets to the precipice) they have to finally stop their anal assault... and what happens?
The Nikkei implodes. Kind of a study in who is who's biatch, no?
And now do you wonder why the Chinese are giving the big eff-you to the moron Dem Congresscritters that want "currency parity?"
Hint: It ain't because they think they can "make it" without us.
Can someone send these dickheads a chart of the Nickster? I know non of them are numerate, but perhaps the picture will serve a purpose?

That GFDL model for Dean is locked on Houston.
Five Refinery Centers in the U.S. Gulf Coast area are in the potential strike zone:
Corpus Christi, TX: three refineries with capacity of 586,000 bpd
Texas City, TX: four refineries with capacity of 948,000 bpd
Houston, TX: five refineries with capacity of 1,344,000 bpd
Port Arthur, TX: four refineries with capacity of 1,122,000 bpd
Lake Charles, LA: three refineries with capacity of 594,000 bpd
Combined, these refining centers are 27% of U.S. refining capacity and supply about:

it looks like you might have to jump in your time machine and strategically place a few nukes to level the Jamaican topography, making sure to avoid the choice Ganja plantations.

GFDL: The NWS/Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory model. This model has been the best overall performing model the past three years. An upgrade to the model this spring has produced a 10-12% improvement in track forecasts and a 30% improvement in intensity forecasts when re-run on hurricanes from the 2005 season. It is the only global model that provides specific intensity forecasts of hurricanes. The raw data is available for users who want to create their own plots of the data, but the GFDL group does not make graphics of their model available on the web.
I just may be fucked here gentelmen. I will be sure to email pics of the choas at Los Tios. A line of about 30 people waiting to get inside, all drunk, drinking margaritas, bitching because the only thing on the "menu" that day will be fajitas.

I'll be damned. The name of the POS penny stock that eventually became HANS came to me.
First Stop Professional Services.
Now I can get on with my life. I shudder to think what I've done to yours.

This is the website for the most accurate model... just keep on clicking on the "+1" button.

Crude,
First and foremost, take care of yourself and best of luck should the GFDL model come to fruition.
Could the Galveston/Houston refinery system handle a direct hit Cat 3-4? Would distillates be affected more than NG?

Stockhead,
Agree about Maria... but to be honest I was annoyed by her even way back when.
And yes Bruce, Rebecca Jarvis is hot and not too annoying yet. Unlike Trish Regan... ugh!

If my calculations are correct at least all of the corpus christi refineries will be wiped off the map. Now should Dean-O head north then it will be even better. Get ready for the ride!
Ha Ha, Ottnott, I am an idiot, Im over here clicking like a mad man. Actually when I first hit that, it didnt work, I didn't know websites had to "load" anymore.
They can handle it, but they will shut them down last minute. And I mean last minute, the problem usually is power outages. As I'm typing, they just changed the GFDL towards the Baton Rouge area.

How about selling some calls on the UNG play? Volatility near a high -- Sept 45s going for 4.00-4.30. Dowside covered nearly 10%; upside of 11% in a month.
I saw those, and it looks like a good idea westie, however, options will fuck you in Nat Gas. I don't care how good you are.
Love BOOM. Plus, an order back log. Another cheapo 'cane play is NSMG. Rode it for a triple from these levels under .20 the last two summers. Went all the way to 2.50 during Katrina & Rita.
