Clean Breakout on Gold
This has to be a "technical move." All of you chart chomping fools are piling into the yellow metal.
Very amusing.
My watch list includes: SA, VGZ, GG, ABX, AUY, NEM and PAAS.
Additionally, the metals are on fire, with nice gains in RTP, PKX, BVN, BHP, RS, NTO, ZEUS, X and NUE.
Don't be fooled into thinking this is a "flight to quality."
Fucking rubbish.

The NYMEX is run by the mob. There are tons and tons of front runnings, back to backing and cuffing the markets by the locals. I have seen it first hand. Some seats will hire people just to watch a big traders phone line, they know its BP's line, Cargill's or Conagra's line. When they know size is about to go through they start front running the big orders before they are even executed causing extreme price fluctuations. You will die young trading nat gas, there is no ryme or reason to it unless you are on the floor or have a really good broker on the floor giving you the scoop. UNG is only good for a LONG TERM hedge against other investments.

You can argue this. Electronic trading with GLOBEX and ICE and so on, go ahead. But there are so many factors that cause UNG to become volatile that it needs to be a long term holding. Mainly for hedging. If you are new to the game, a long term holding should mean you don't give a shit where the stock goes in the day to day fluctuations. For what it is worth, everyone I sit next to, I mean everyone thought natgas was going higher today, dead fucking wrong.
