Aside from the queer retail stocks, today was a full fledged rout of the bears, with big dicked gains everywhere.
As you know, "The Fly" is interested in getting his share of the billions being made on the internet, via iiG. Nervously, I await its earnings.
In short, I'm too fucking busy to fuck around with retards on the internets. I'm over here "banking coin" planning expensive fall vacations, while you're there reading this bullshit.
Ha.
Finally, I'm focused on AZZ, LNN, MVIS, UNG, iiG and AXR now. Also, during today's rally, I chuckled, not laughed, at how gay the bears' must feel, in light of the "fuck you, you're dead rally."
Off to tennis.

Anyone else catch the American Airlines CNBC documentary last night? My wife and I watched it, pretty interesting.
Broker, I didn't see EQIX on your list below, you still own that?

Why aren't the "i"'s in "iiG" capitalized? Is that some kind of Fly signature stock? Or, are you just doing that to see if anybody gives a rip?

p.s....FMCN a buy here?

"...while your there?
you're... it's a fucking contraction"
I wrote that. What are you crazy?
iiG is code for "Get your share..." as opposed to IIG, which means "go to jail."
I sold out EQIX.

While we're commenting on grammatical errors, isn't it a rout of the bears instead of a route of the bears?

David--
Why are you making up stories?
I never wrote route.
Show me proof.

Jog on.
Ok, now I really have to go.

Fly- I know tennis is for the little ones. But when you are banking coin, what else is there to poke fun of?
Except maybe your use of the apostrophe, presumably to show possession, in "how gay the bears' must feel..."
3 for 3!

Bruce -- of course that farking machine (on hard courts at least) Federer is going to win again.
It's gotten incredibly boring.
Bring back the screamfests of my youth. What happened to Johnny Mac of Douglastown, LI???

BTW -- Bruce, if you give a schit, I followed up on our conversation down there below the gospel choir...
Here's a little bit of historical data for my buddy T. Today was the 4th day in a row that the Trin on the nasdaq closed below .50. This has never happened in the last 20 years. However the few times when the Trin closed below this level 3 consecutive times has resulted in 9 out of 10 winners. The average gain has been 5.3% in the following month. The average max gain is 10.2%.

iiG I just can't pull the trigger.
Is the stock where you come on in the morning and say if you can't stomach a little volatility to bail out now.
Those people on their web site are frighting. What a hustle. Getting their share of the Billions and Billions.

Brucie, back at ya... but you may want to bring it up further as the Fly may eliminate all evidence of said choir and discussion, soon.
oh .. too late .. its down there again .. if you want to continue this back & forth, we can do it here .. or out of respect for the purposes of this blog, we can call it a day. I have a feeling the moderator will be cutting us off shortly. and I'm gonna take a nap.
What can I say, the fucktoid is trying to compare Stalin's & Mao's massacres to "the Philadelphia Bible riots??"
I mean, seriously, what the fuck?
Can't these people get better material than that to shore up their arguments?

when all else fails to bring me over to your point of view, start calling me names, start making up facts to suit your pov & read things into what I write that ain't there
ie - who is trying to compare Stalin & Mao's massacres to the philly cheese bible riots? Not I but nice try .. not really though
You are a Straw man arguer
I'll say it again .. all that matters is trying to win another over to ones point of view .. through logic, discussion .. when that fails, all that is left is violence & bloodshed. Period, end of story.

You don't think the commies thought they were being logical and cool headed? Howabout the nazis? Do you think there was anything rash in the way they methodically went about collecting and exterminating most of Europe's Jews before they were finally stopped.
Without a consistent(no, Bruce, the salafist's are not consistent with modern Islam) moral framework, we are lost. That is atheism's biggest gaping hole.

A straw man argument is an informal fallacy based on misrepresentation of an opponent's position. To "set up a straw man" or "set up a straw man argument" is to create a position that is easy to refute, then attribute that position to the opponent.
Have I defended/promoted communism, nazism, atheism?
Don't misrepresent what I have said, just so you can make a point based on these false representations.
Do you hold the door open for someone because that is a natural thing to do or because your religious morality tells you to & if you do, you will be rewarded here on earth & in heaven? and if not, you will be punished?

I know what a fucking straw man argument is, Bruce. I actually went to a college where they demanded SAT scores on top of the required Fruit Loops box tops.
And it's not a straw man. You are posing an equivalency and I'm saying you are all wet. The proven destructiveness of atheistic ideologies enacted by States is in the history books detailing the 20th century's greatest bloodbaths. You are saying it doesn't matter, that morality has no anchor or consistency in culture, and therefore practical logic should rule.
And your example is primo. No, you do not hold the door open for someone because "it's the natural thing to do" for fluck's sake. The natural thing to do is get what yours for you and fuck everyone else, including the lady with the groceries at the door.
You do it because you have been trained in civilized behaviour which has a basis in a religious moral code.
Whether you like it or not, Bruce, you are a mensch or an asshole according to how much of the 50 centuries of Jewish morality has been passed down to you by your parents. Not because you "choose" it, but because it's been instilled in you.

Even though you know what a straw man argument is, you continue to use it. I am not defending or promoting aetheism. You say I said 'it doesn't matter'. You say I said that practical logic 'should' rule.
I have said none of those things.
What you say about being trained in civilized behaviour with religious underpinnings is true. We are all programmed like computers to behave a certain way so society can function smoothly & so we can function in society. Much of our behaviour is rooted in religious morality which is based on reward & punishment. It is selfishness to get what is yours & fuck everyone else and it is selfishness to hold the door open because you want to be rewarded in the here & now or in some afterlife because thats what your religion promises you.
You are telling me that moral behaviour has its roots in theology. I question that. Moses led a bunch of people out of slavery & through a desert. They were roaming that desert, seeking their promised land & frustration must have set in. The people got unruly, so maybe Moses said "Time out, I'm going up this mountain to speak to God & get some directions because we are lost" Being God-fearing people, they bought his line & he went up there & carved out in stone a few laws, supposedly dictated by God, for the unruly masses to live by so they could all get along until they reached the promised land. I think maybe Moses was just a wise dude & came up with those laws himself in response to the situation at hand. I do not buy any of that God given morality. It is all given to us by humans who say God spoke to them.
I think it is natural to hold a door open in certain situations for ones fellow man or woman. God has nothing to do with it.
I have said none of those things.

Man, you really did drop out of Hebrew school early. Moses wasn't the founder of the Jewish religion, Abraham, was remember? If you want to get all cynical about "controlling" people and clever ruses, you'll have to go back to Hammurabi, who many credit with the original language of the 10 commandments. And wherever you choose to believe it came from, it was distilled from experience, that was my only point. You say "human" given. Fine. But I say even if you dont' believe, these traditions are important because they set the law above Man.
And forget about what you think is "natural" -- you are operating under the same "reward" system when you open a door for a woman as you would if you believed it would get you closer to heaven (a ridiculous concept for an adult, believer or no). You do it because it's the right thing to do. You know it's the right thing to do because of 5000 years of civilization, not because it's "natural."
I am only asking that you look past the arrogance of believing there is no value being transmitted here. History has proven that absent those values, things fall to shit, and quickly.

The law above man means what? Divine law?
Not sure when I began opening doors. Maybe I was just aping my elders. Now, I do it or not, as the case may be, because of common courtesy. Whether that is because of 5000 years of programming is possible. If so, then I and everyone else are just preprogrammed robots/computers.
You are referring to what value being transmitted from where? If you are referring to religious values, I call them human values.
imo, man created God out of his fears & to get what he wanted , not the other way around.
