Sitting here, watching my positions bleed out makes me want to break a tennis racket over my trader/servant's stupid head. Especially when stocks like iiG do not allow me to "get my share," at least not right away.
From what I understand, the iiG numbers were great, but they guided down, thanks to current litigation issues. However, just know, the company is being extremely conservative and will likely "mushroom cloud" current estimates. Plus, they upped the share buyback.
In short, they bank coin, with hardly any competition. Look for this story to get more interesting, within the coming months.
As for today's trading:
Very disconcerting, especially ahead of tomorrow's job numbers. All day, I was throwing darts at Steve Jobs' face, as AAPL fell through the floor boards.
However, I did have some green, such as FRX, NTRI, UNG, GMXR, ALJ, VLO and ADBE.
For the most part, oil was robust, while everything else suck cock.
Look for tomorrow's economic data to set the tone. On a good number, we're up 200. If bad, up periscope, this fucker is going down.
NOTE: Thanks to today's fucktarded trading in MVIS, I destroyed my favorite paper weight, by smashing its fucking face against the wall-- again and again and again, until it was reduced to dust.

be careful, Fly - you might be dating yourself. I thought only the 47 1/2+ crowd used paper weights.
This is interesting. I have never had the need for a paper weight. Is it because some offices get windy? When someone walks by your desk/throne I guess it can be kind of turbulent and blow a few papers off the top. I am really not sure, I have actually thought about this shit way too long. WNR will quietly sneak its way up to $85, and then some.
I can't believe WNR is trading at $53. I remember when Fly used to break things when it would not break out above $23.
Jeremy -
I was just going to mention my hand grenade paper weight. No schit.
It's not breakable, at least.
I also have a brass two and a half inch cubed cube. It's heavy as shit. Way heavier than any granite crap that crumbles with a couple of angry bangings.

But to answer your question, Harry -- it's not old man crap, it's the bidness.
For some reason, somebody -- probably back in the days of Jesse Livermore -- decreed that "paperweights" of various composition would make great deal toys.
Those, and little fucking clocks.

Why would a professional money manager go crazy when a long-term hold like MVIS bounces around on no news? Either they get new contracts and can manufacture the IPM and it goes straight to $100 or they cant and it goes nowhere but down. Your Jockeys too tight? Try SpongeBob boxer briefs.
FWIW I think TA is a crock. But tight bolinger bands usually do signify a move...not which way tho. Unless we get some news that is...

Fuck off Cigar.
MVIS is wearing investors thin.
Take it from me. The company mustn't go on a new black out.

Well shit, They got their contract a month before the end of summer. That's what they promised--and delivered. if dickhead investors are expecting 2 per month thats their problem. What the hell would you like Tokman to do? He doesnt like Oatmeal.
And they just won a Frost and Sullivan award.

Ok Ok, you guys want little object to break and fuck with while at work. I got it. It is better than a paper weight and can serve the same purpose. I've seen one before on someones desk, it can get annoying (to someone else) when you spin it a bunch. But it is pretty neat. Just spin the fucker and trade on it. Don't be a pussy, and do what it says.

I'm sure a paper weight was very helpful when Da Vinci was fucking around writing nifty things with a feather pen back in the mid-1400s. Up in some castle tower with no windows on a gusty day. Not today Fly. What in the fuck am I talking about?

Fly,
You have been assured by your contacts about potential deals, then why get impatient? Look you are better at this game than many of us internet fucktards. It is summer and shit moves alot slower than normal. If it really bothers you than call AT and tell him to get his shit on hyperdrive. I am comfortable with late 08 and 1st half 09 launch and will wait until those thing come to fruition.
I'm surprised to see you lose your cool. Like I said before you are more experienced and more in the know than us internet leeches.
Man over all market must be really fucking you up if we have to be your head doctor.
Just a little longer my man, just a little longer.
Thanks.

I know you guys are bulls, but there are still a few patterns that could play out in the Nasdaq that wouldn't necessarily mean screaming new highs right now. In any case, the bears were getting over excited ... stupid fucks ... and they will probably get crushed, just be aware it might be in a roundabout way (read: not a straight line), trend lines are so last season.

gapping,
one of the funniest fucking things I've read in a long time. Espically this part:
"say, working as clowns at rich kids' birthday parties. They could even have an act: put them in clown suits and see how many can be stuffed into a Maybach. It'd be like the circus, only better."
Holy shit I just crapped my pants.
Fucking freeloaders.
